They will be for three different ages groups — 0 to 2 Year Olds, 3 & 4 Year Olds, and 5 & 6 Year Olds. Registration is required via the Events Calendar at https://chescolibraries.org/. Virtual Storytimes are not registered as multi-week sessions; you will need to register for each storytime individually.

Kids’ Update: Check Out BookFlix

There’s no reason to be bored while you stuck at home.  The Chester County Library still has plenty of educational and entertaining fun in store for you!  Check out BookFlix!  Just go to the Kids Button at www.chescolibraries.org and then click on Connect.  BookFlix pairs classic video storybooks with related non-fiction eBooks, as well as providing games and puzzles for each pair.  BookFlix is also available in Spanish; just click the button in the top right corner of the homepage.  Don’t have a library card?  Scroll down for the post about getting an e-card.

Simultaneous Use eAudiobooks

OverDrive, or the Libby app, is a great way to get audiobooks while we are closed.  If you don’t want to place titles on hold, then check out our Simultaneous Use collection of Tantor and Blackstone eAudiobooks!  All of these eAudiobooks are available without holds.  There are classics, mystery, romance, young adult, science fiction, historical fiction, general fiction, and nonfiction titles.

Read magazines online with Flipster

Did you know that, with your library card and an internet connection, you can read digital copies of many of your favorite magazines on your computer or mobile device? Over 80 titles are available, including food, home/gardening, and news magazines, and much more! In addition to the most recent issue of magazines, older issues are also available to read.

To start exploring and to view a full list of titles on your computer, visit chescolibraries.org, select “Downloads,” scroll down the page to click on the Flipster button, and then enter your CCLS library card number. You can also download the Flipster app to get started on your mobile device.
