How to Scan Documents without a Scanner
Trying to scan your tax documents from home but don’t have a scanner? No problem! Use your mobile device to scan your documents by using the Adobe Scan app. It is free and available from both Google Play and the Apple Store.

To mitigate the spread of the CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19), the PA CareerLink Chester County and United Way Financial Stability Center is currently closed. In the event you need to reach them, you may leave a message at 610-280-1010. They will be checking voicemail and returning messages as soon as possible. Claimants should direct all unemployment claim (UC) inquiries to the Unemployment Office at 1-888-313-7284. Any additional changes to PA CareerLink Chester County’s operating schedule will be posted on their website at https://www.pacareerlinkchesco.org/.

Mango Languages is an interactive language learning program that includes 66 foreign language courses for English speakers, 18 English as a Second Language (ESL) modules and cultural courses and movies.

Are you missing reading the Philly Inquirer while you’re stuck at home? Do you want to find out what is happening in our region? The Chester County Library offers free access to the full-color Philadelphia Inquirer online with your library card! Once you log in with your library card, choose 2018 – current (the bottom option) and then click on today’s date to go to the front page. You can easily zoom in and out as well as navigate to the next page using the on-screen buttons. You can even read back issues!
2019 tax deadline extended
The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service are providing special payment relief to individuals and businesses in response to the COVID-19 Outbreak. The filing deadline for tax returns remains April 15, 2020. The filing deadline for tax returns has been extended to July 15, 2020. Did you know that, with your library card and an internet connection, you can read digital copies of many of your favorite magazines on your computer or mobile device? Over 80 titles are available, including food, home/gardening, and news magazines, and much more! In addition to the most recent issue of magazines, older issues are also available to read.
To start exploring and to view a full list of titles on your computer, visit chescolibraries.org, select “Downloads,” scroll down the page to click on the Flipster button, and then enter your CCLS library card number. You can also download the Flipster app to get started on your mobile device.

No museum passes needed! The zoo hosts Zoo School Live every weekday at 11 a.m. This is an interactive presentation. Remember to prepare your questions to ask the zoo keeper!
