The $2 trillion stimulus package, “Coronavirus Aid Relief & Economic Security Act, (“CARES ACT”), was signed into law on Friday, March 27th. It authorizes the Internal Revenue Service to send $1,200 payments to millions of Americans and creates programs to disburse close to $1 trillion in business loans and guarantees to millions of large and small companies throughout the economy. This webinar will provide an overview of the CARES Act and discuss other health and tax related items as well as a Q&A session.

Third Telephone Town Hall for Chester County businesses and non-profits

Please join the Chester County Commissioners and leaders from the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI), Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC), the Small Business Administration (SBA), and our elected officials and staff, for a Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, April 2, 2020.  This session focuses on the new CARES Act as well as other programs available – from loans to grants to unemployment compensation.
This Telephone Town Hall will be divided into TWO SEPARATE EVENTS – one for FOR-PROFIT BUSINESSES at 11:00 a.m. and one for NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS at 2:00 p.m.

The player of the joke or prank exposes their action later by shouting “April Fools!” at the recipient.  April Fools’ Day might have started in France, when the country adopted the Gregorian Calendar in 1582. The new calendar moved New Years’ Day to January 1st from April 1st, but, when people forgot and celebrated the New Year in April, people made fun of them! Virtual Storytimes are not registered as multi-week sessions; you will need to register for each storytime individually.

Stream Free Audio Recordings of Seven Shakespeare Plays

The Folger Shakespeare has made audio recordings of seven Folger Shakespeare plays available for free streaming until July 1 2020. Choose from Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Othello, Richard III, and Romeo and Juliet, “performed by the professional actors of Folger Theatre, in consultation with the editors of The Folger Shakespeare.”

You can also read free full text of all of Shakespeare’s plays, sonnets, and poems, learn about topics related to Shakespeare, and more.
