Join us for Victory Gardening in 2020, Wednesday, May 20, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The continuing uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and concerns about safety and challenges from increasingly hard to predict weather might have you wondering how you can have a productive vegetable, herb and fruit garden. With some planning you can easily grow your own fresh and healthy produce – whether in raised beds, mixed in with the flowers or in containers. You don’t need acres to have an abundant harvest!
This online workshop presented by Elizabeth Alakszay will teach you timesaving and sustainable methods on how to set up and select the fruits, berries, herbs and vegetables best suited for sustaining your family. Soil preparation, transplanting, care, irrigation, pest management, harvesting and preserving your harvest will be covered. Techniques for extending your season in the spring and fall will also be discussed.
Please register for the program: Wednesday, May 20, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
