Today is World Mental Health Day, observed with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.
You can learn more from the World Health Organization here and about past World Mental Health Days here.
In addition, the World Health Organization will host, for the first time ever, a global online advocacy event on mental health. World leaders, mental health experts and celebrity guests will join WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, to tell the world what we can all do to improve our mental health and how we can help make sure that quality mental health care is available to everyone who needs it. Learn more about this event here.
Our library system also has many print and digital library resources for you.
In addition, you can access Yoga and Mindfulness magazines on Flipster, free. Visit https://chescolibraries.org/downloads and scroll to Flipster to sign in with your library card.
